Shared device

You cannot change security settings or install software. Use an authorized scratch folder and existing editor. Record the administrator route for settings work. This can satisfy the permission-plan portion, but it cannot be called evidence that settings were changed. A denied file operation leaves the restore gate pending.

Cloud notebook

The application displays a recent edit, but another device shows the older text. Check save/sync state and version identity before deleting anything. Keep a local export only if permitted, and verify that it includes the needed content. “Online” does not tell you retention or recovery guarantees.

Folder screenshot

A learner submits an image of three folders. Ask for the restored file and content comparison. The screenshot shows folder existence, not recovery of the intended artifact.
