Bridge Review: Launchpad to Programming Basics
Use this as the handoff portion of your existing project/exam record, not another assignment. Module numbers are navigation, not deadlines.
Close Launchpad evidence
Inspect the shared record against all progression gates. Confirm readiness A/B/D; SS, R, C, S, DS and AL dimensions; Module 2 and 3 quizzes and practical work; project; cumulative review; checkpoint at least 12/15; exam at least 75% overall and 70% in each section; and any fresh repairs. Label self-assessment and independent review separately.
Two planned study sessions are still pending. A passing aggregate cannot hide a missing restore or Git outcome. Algebra readiness can continue alongside Semester 00, but schedule its repair and reassessment before Semester 01. Count the repair hours once.
Carry one workspace forward
Point to your saved learning folder, setup instructions and last checked file. Explain saved versus unsaved content, give one safe recovery step and state the limits of the copy you tested. Reuse the existing calendar and record; carry only the next feasible task into it. There is no additional glossary, essay or public portfolio requirement.
Start Programming Basics
Complete its file/arithmetic entry diagnostic, then the Python setup and first-run bridge. Launchpad requires no Python knowledge. Interpreter availability and the first saved script belong to Programming Basics' first lesson; record unexpected setup repairs separately.
Follow Programming Basics before Algorithm Intuition. Its 38–57 hours sit within the revised Semester 00 allocation. Do not compress the work into the legacy five-week label.
Keep delayed evidence open
Immediate programming requirements allow only the provisional continuation described in its pilot record. Plan checks around seven and 28 days from the same first immediate-pass date. They do not start at Launchpad completion. Keep final programming readiness pending until both checks and repairs pass; author examples and technical checker output cannot supply these learner observations.
