Shared Pilot Progress Record
Use one private copy while following the Beginner Pilot Guide. Download the blank text record, or copy the template below. This page contains no learner results.
Link existing work rather than copying files into a second portfolio. If you already use the readiness or programming record, keep it and use this as its index; those records are alternative prompts, not additional compulsory forms. Fill a session block after actual work and update the evidence index at stage boundaries. Only repeat the issue block when something needs investigation.
The Launchpad progression rules, individual module rubrics and Programming Basics retention contract define passing. A label in this record cannot override them. Unavailable independent review must stay labeled unavailable; self-assessment permits only the provisional continuation described by the curriculum. Do not invent observations to complete a field.
BEGINNER PILOT - PRIVATE PROGRESS RECORD
Leave results blank until observed. Blank does not mean zero or pass.
Status: not started / active / repair needed / pending observation / demonstrated.
Use pending observation when a scheduled observation or delayed check has not occurred.
Keep self-assessment versus independent review separate from task status.

REVIEW - update at stage boundaries
Actual focused hours by module; separate extra repair and optional work:
Observed difficulty versus estimate (one learner, not a general average):
Demonstrated / open / not-yet-due requirements:
Evidence limits: author check / self-assessment / independent review:
Next permitted action and scheduled follow-up:
Choose one next action at the end of each session. Record actual dates even when the schedule slips. Optional readiness follow-up is rehearsal; the two Programming Basics delayed tasks are formal requirements for final programming readiness and the Semester 00 exit gate. Do not confuse readiness C (algebra) with communication C1–C3.
