Author Example Evidence Packet
Preserve your independent attempt before opening this worked example. It contains calibration answers, not an extra assignment. Download the complete author example, extract it and start with README.md. The text, fixtures and Git history can be inspected offline.
What it illustrates
One index connects readiness, study/recovery, tooling, Git, reading, communication, digital recovery, AI verification, cumulative review, all 15 checkpoint prompts, exam criteria and the Programming Basics handoff. It demonstrates how to link existing evidence rather than assemble several portfolios.
The packet includes an actual author-created Git history with conflicting edits, a deliberately unsupported proposal, a corrected review claim and a reverted unwanted edit. Its optional verifier reopens that history, checks shell/file behavior, performs a content-checked restore with an incomplete negative control, executes the first Python example and checks assessment arithmetic. Running that author tool is optional and adds no Launchpad Python prerequisite.
What its labels mean
- Author technical observation: the recorded operation ran on the stated host. This does not establish learner understanding, GUI proficiency or cross-platform behavior.
- Authored calibration or fictional session: illustrates the expected record and reasoning. It is not an actual learner observation, independent answer or human review.
- Hypothetical score: shows how criteria and weights combine if an independent learner supplies the required evidence. It is not a score earned by this packet or by you.
The example intentionally keeps actual learner status not assessed. Its fictional study records cannot satisfy SS2/S2. Its perfect numerical illustration cannot bypass missing practical gates. Its delayed programming checks have no learner anchor date and remain unassessed.
Use the structure, then return to your own shared record. Keep your original failed attempts, assistance, real results and fresh repairs. After viewing a solution, use a changed case to demonstrate independence. See the project, checkpoint, exam and workload contract for the actual requirements.
