Worked Examples

Inspecting a fluent answer

Candidate B counts review outside the available blocks. Monday becomes 35 minutes and Friday 50, exceeding each by five. The available total remains 75; the claimed 85 does not fit. A valid repair allocates 25+5 on Monday and 40+5 on Friday.

Candidate C has correct arithmetic but two unsupported claims. The supplied card provides no study showing doubled retention, and there is no evidence of a calendar operation. Moreover, the task allowed only a proposed plan. Remove the causal claim and describe a proposal; do not fabricate a citation or booking confirmation.

Candidate A meets the supplied plan contract. That does not establish it is the optimal study schedule or that a learner will follow it. Actual observations from the sustainable-study module would inform later adjustment.

Hint versus answer

A hint identifying the quantities can help the learner take the next step. A finished calculation may clarify an error after an attempt. Neither proves learning until the learner can handle a fresh case without that answer. When transfer fails, record the gap and repair it; do not rewrite the first attempt as independently correct.
