  • Using split(",") as a CSV parser: test a quoted comma.
  • Treating all failures as empty data: distinguish invalid input from header-only data.
  • Using a set to simplify aggregation: preserve repeated records.
  • Hashing the formatted output while claiming to identify the raw input: name what was hashed.

Practice Mistake Checks​

Choose one mistake, predict a concrete failing result and add the smallest case that distinguishes it from correct behavior. Repair only after recording the observation. Re-run the affected checks and explain what the test still cannot prove. Keep the original failure in your private evidence record.
