Practice Solutions and Review Calibration
Use after preserving independent work. These explanations do not supply real interviews, reviewer observations or delayed transfer results.
Diagnostic
Caller mutation can affect retained input; mutation of an exposed returned object can affect retained state. Test them separately. Changed failure behavior is part of an API change even if successful outputs match. A regression should fail again when its targeted defect is restored. Inspect local commit diffs and split changes in a disposable branch; do not force-push shared history. A screenshot does not show keyboard order, focus, error recovery or successful task completion.
P01–P05
Expected A/id7 and B/id7 results differ by tenant, despite sharing the identifier. The supplied tenant is already authorized; this exercise is not authentication. Both the candidate predicate and key omit tenant, so fixing only one leaves a counterexample. Input snapshotting and fresh result copying repair separate ownership defects. In the totals sample, binary floating arithmetic and missing policy are questions to resolve using a stated currency/rounding contract; / is not integer truncation. Extra factory/strategy layers without useful variation may be simplified, but that judgment alone does not prove an urgent correctness failure. Give an alternative and the circumstances under which the current boundary earns its cost.
P06–P10
A minimal tenant regression needs two rows with the same id and different tenant/name, then two requests. A mutation probe must fail on a relevant assertion, not a broken import. An uncached snapshot scan satisfies the same observable contract; compare its work per request with a cache's memory and invalidation assumptions. Promotion schedule: both callers read uses0/max1, both pass the guard, both write uses1 and both receive success. This demonstrates a possible execution without an atomic guard/update; it does not prove the actual storage permits that schedule. Define expiry equality explicitly and test it with an injected clock. Clock/ID determinism does not establish storage isolation or replay-safe effects.
P11–P15
A blocking comment ties a known contract to an exact trigger and consequence. Questions identify missing information; optional suggestions do not masquerade as proven bugs. In a solo reply, explain the disputed assumption and propose a decisive test. Separate renames from the behavior fix so reviewers can inspect the security-relevant change; local history mechanics do not require rewriting shared branches. A scan has low retained state but repeated search, a cache adds key/ownership/update obligations, and an index front-loads work/memory. A reconsideration trigger might be measured request cost or a newly supported update operation. Recovery must retain the isolation repair; rolling back known leakage can worsen the incident, and no code rollback retracts already exposed information.
P16–P20
A user assumption names a task and observable obstacle, not a desired feature as proof of demand. Real observations and anonymized task results must be collected. Helped completion is recorded separately from independent completion. Manual accessibility checks must address the relevant workflow and criterion; no single scanner proves conformance. Before/after improvement requires an observed retest, with limitations such as a small participant sample. Delayed transfer uses new identifiers/requirements and an independently selected check; a copied explanation remains assisted.
Supplied sample calibration
For checkout totals, request the money representation, rounding point, valid discounts and tax policy before asserting a particular output is incorrect. A useful proposed test is an exact boundary case once that policy is agreed. For UserFetcher, show the simpler delegating boundary and actual edit surface; do not ban interfaces merely because only one implementation currently exists. For promotions, preserve the interleaving above, investigate persistence of cart/order effects, and separate missing-contract questions from verified defects. Test both expiry equality and concurrent quota behavior under the eventual storage contract. The samples intentionally omit surrounding imports/services; do not claim that every fragment is a standalone program.
E1 must identify which fault each sequence discriminates. E2 records observed versus predicted effort separately. E3 names the missing evidence rather than judging prose quality. Final scoring still uses all AR gates and the separate HCI rubric; there is no number of comments or invented errors that proves competence.
